My life sucks
Due to the "dangers" of having sharp wire edges on my quail cages, I'm forced to grind them down, one half-inch increment at a time. There are...a lot of half-inch increments. This is ridiculous - at this rate, it's taking me ten times as long to grind down the edges on one cage than it took to BUILD the damn thing. It'll take me 5.5 days to finish all 11 cages, if I don't eat or sleep or go to the bathroom or go to class. And the chicks are supposed to go into the cages sometime this week. I think at this point I'm ready to duct tape all of the edges and screw the ability to autoclave it.
And the "last ditch effort" adult quails that the breeder sent me today are only guaranteed 2nd day delivery. WTF? They don't guarantee next day delivery of
live animals? I'm going to be on-call all day tomorrow and the day after just in case they arrive.
This isn't even counting non-thesis work. *wails*

FSU. Um, I don't think I've criticized him too much (the shoulder pads have to go, Jeff!), but hopefully they'll take note of several musical pieces I said would be good for him to skate to. *g*
I'm still gaping with awe over his new long program. The first half is the most gorgeously choreographed program I have ever seen. I stopped it halfway in my first viewing so I could watch it again. Dunno about the soft ending, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Jeff.
I have less confidence in our US boy Johnny Weir, whom Jeff pwns in costume tastes. And he still hasn't gotten out of his "romantic techno/elevator music" rut. Gah!
