All right...

This is the LAST STRAW. I notice the AC has been blasting for a bit of a while, and I go out to check the thermostat. It's set to FRIGGIN' 60 degrees!

Ummm......

You know you live with a family with too much money when your cousin's very first reaction to feeling too warm isn't to change into shorts and/or a tank top, but to blast the AC. In a 3,500 sq. ft house. Gag me with a spoon.

Why does my immediate family seem to be the only laid-back/reasonable/normal one out of all of the extended folks I've lived with so far? I have three words: Thank you Mom.

Sing us a song tonight...

How utterly strange. Will make for an awesome Shine-esque movie though. And I do prefer a piano to people at times as well. So does Tori Amos, LOL..

Too bad I won't have access to one for the next 9 weeks. Finally have Internet here at CA Uncle's place after we've figured out this whole connection thing. Spent a few hours trying to download all of the programs I usually have on my computer in the dorms, sans AIM cause this laptop is screwy and never downloads the entire installer. *le sigh* Dialup is weird, especially after you've gotten used to a high-speed connection on campus, LOL.

But I should go to sleep. Need to do lots of things tomorrow - clean the car (which will hopefully be free of ants, long story), buy art supplies, go to the post office, find a grocery store/ATM, go to class, etc.

And I haven't even gone to the rink yet! *weep* I figure I might as well spend this first week settling myself in...
